MarginMate Calculator is a profit and margin calculation tool that can be used without account registration. It does not transmit users' calculation data to an operating server.
MarginMate Calculator (the "App") is a calculation tool that helps small business owners and online sellers calculate selling prices, costs, fees, shipping costs, VAT, discounts, profit, and margin rates. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how user data is stored and managed.
1. Personal Information Collection
The App does not require account registration and does not collect personal information that directly identifies users, such as name, phone number, email address, location information, contacts, or photos.
The App does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or social login SDKs, and does not transmit users' calculation data to an operating server.
2. Data Processed in the App
The App may process the following information entered directly by the user on the device to provide calculation and convenience features.
- Product name or calculation title
- Selling price, cost, commission rate, payment fee rate, shipping cost, packaging cost, advertising cost
- Target margin rate, discount rate, and VAT-related input values
- Calculation results, saved calculation history, templates, and app settings
This information is business calculation data entered directly by the user to use the App features. The App operator does not separately collect or transmit this data to a server.
3. Data Storage
Calculation history, templates, and default settings are stored in local storage on the user's device. Stored data may be deleted when the App is deleted, the device is reset, or the user deletes records in the App.
4. Backup, Export, and Sharing
If the user chooses, the App may back up calculation history as files or share calculation results as PDF, image, text, or similar formats.
In this case, data may be delivered to the external app, storage location, or sharing recipient selected by the user. The App sends such data externally only when the user directly performs sharing or export.
5. Third-Party Sharing
The App does not sell, provide, or share users' personal information or calculation data with third parties.
However, if the user directly selects Android or iOS sharing, file saving, or printing features, the policies of the operating system or external apps providing those features may apply.
6. Permissions
The App does not require sensitive device permissions for the calculation features themselves.
When using certain features such as backup file selection, file saving, sharing, or printing, the operating system's file picker, share sheet, or print feature may be launched. This process is performed only by the user's explicit action.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 14 and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Calculation history and settings stored in the App are kept on the user's device.
Users can delete stored data by using the deletion features in the App or by deleting the App. Files saved externally through backup or sharing must be deleted directly by the user from the relevant storage location or external app.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated due to changes in App features, applicable laws, or store policies. If there are important changes, notice may be provided through in-app notices or distribution pages.
